I’m someone who rarely has time for a manicure (I know, right? A beauty writer who sucks at beauty maintenance – go figure), so when I do it myself I need something truly quick and idiot-proof (because I suck at painting my own nails.) A little slice of magic arrived here at FSB HQ a while ago that I’m now love. Ladies, for those of us who are too busy to live, please let me introduce you to a bottle of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure.
This little genius bottle of nail magic is exactly what it says: a complete manicure in one bottle. The formula contains base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, and top coat in one application. It comes in 42 shades for those of us who get bored with our color easily (even though I don’t do it often, I reserve the right to be completely picky when I do paint my nails) and the brush makes application sooooo easy and quick. Brush it on, let it dry, rock on and it doesn’t chip quickly. I’m wearing Calypso Blue Creme right now and, well, it’s fabulous.
Best of all? It’s ridiculously cost effective. At around $7 a bottle, it’s waaay less than a salon manicure and it takes half the time. You know you can’t beat that, so head to your local drugstore and pick up a bottle. At that price, pick up a few and, when you get a free minute, make your nails a little more fabulous.
