With an eye toward true luxury in both the packaging and the formulas, the collaboration between the two companies is bringing forth a gorgeous line of cosmetics that will have you looking paparazzi ready every single day. If you’re not familiar with Le Métier de Beauté and its sleek packaging and truly flawless products, this is definitely a fantastic time to get acquainted, especially with this designer collaboration.
The packaging is mercurial silver, inspired by Sandra Bullock’s silver bugle dress by Marchesa worn at this year’s Oscar awards. It also comes with two palettes: La Lune, created by Georgina Chapman, a credit-card sized quintet of dramatically bold colors to create her signature smoky-eyed feminine look. It includes translucent pressed powder, concealer, a lip gloss, creme blush and eye shadow. The second palette, Le Soleil, was created by Keren Craig, and mimics a California sun-kissed bronzed look. It contains bronzer, concealer, a caramel lip gloss, creme blush and an eye shadow. The palettes will retail for $65.
The collection also includes eight shades of lip gloss ($38 each) and brightener and luminizer pens (for precise application – love, $48 each). The whole gorgeous collection will be available at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus nationwide beginning September 2010, so get ready to purchase, apply and walk your own red carpet every day, ladies.
