Beauty News: M·A·C Cosmetics Gets In The Groove

As per usual, there’s always something super cool going on with beauty industry favorite, M·A·C Cosmetics. From now until the end of August, you can get your hands on another super cool new collection called In the Groove.

A hypercool merger of 70’s bohemian and 80’s neo-hippie style, this dip-dye-inspired group includes nine new Mineralize Eye Shadows (which are matte, without glitter and sold as trios), four Mineralize Skinfinish Powders, and five new Mineralize Blush Duos. For lips, the collection includes six Cremesheen Lipsticks and Cremesheen Glass glosses. What to expect? Check it out:

Accentuate your eyes with the new Mineralize Eye Shadow Trios($19.50 each) in these gorgeous boho-glam combinations: In the Groove (shown) (satin green/pearly burgundy/satin coral), Love to Love (satin beige/pearly bronze/satin brown), Making It Easy (satin red brown/pearly beige rose/satin dark beige), Togetherness (satin lavender/pearly purple/satin grey), Style Influencer (satin silver/pearly deep blue/satin mauve brown), Soften the Mood (satin light brown/pearly rose/satin light blue), Fresh & Easy (satin pink/pearly burgundy/satin grey); Calm, Cool & Collected (satin deep green/pearly green/satin beige), and Blue My Mind (satin light blue/pearly deep teal/satin black).

Those of us who are eye pencil fanatics will love the Powerpoint Eye Pencils ($14.50 each) from the collection in Stubborn Brown (a deep rich brown), Permaplum (a wine-rich plum with pink shimmer), and Navy Stain (shown above, a gorgeous royal blue with shimmer.)

Top those eyes off with a few coats of Zoom Lash in Zoomblack ($13), a rich sooty black that will make your peepers pop.
The Mineralize Blush Duos ($23) will keep cheeks looking flushed and fabulous in the following hues: Hang Loose (shown above, a satin bright pink/pearly lavender), Happy Together (satin caramel/pearly beige), A Little Bit of Sunshine (satin light brown/pearly beige), Band of Roses (satin blue pink/pearly light plum), and New Vibe (satin deep rose/pearly bronze.)

For those of you who are seriously into the cult of M·A·C, please behold that Stereo Rose, the coral with golden bronze shimmer shown above, is back! I would call now because the magic is selling out quickly all over the country but if you want a flawless complexion, this is where it’s at. You should also definitely look to these other gorgeous Mineralize Skinfinish ($28 each) for a perfect finish: By Candlelight (a golden pink), Comfort ( a healthy-looking golden bronze), and the delicate Petticoat (pretty pale rose with gold and amber veining.)

Apply them with the 187 Duo Fibre Fac Brush ($42), an oversized circular brush for lightweight application and the blending of of face powder or pigments.

Get a luscious pout with the new hues of Creamsheen Lipstick ($14 each):  Crème d’Nude Pale (shown above, a pretty muted peachy-beige), I Like It Like That (a tres cool deep blue-pink), Call My Bluff (a mid-tone creamy coffee), Jazzed Bright (vibrant coral pink), All Styled Up (a night-worthy bright yellow-pink), and Go For It (gorgeous mid-tone blue-purple.)
