Beauty News You Can Use: Introducing the First Social Beauty Store, Bloom.com

So, there you are, sitting in front of your computer, looking for a beauty product. Let’s say it’s a night cream. Well, at least you think you need a night cream. But what kind? And will it break you out? Do other people like it? Maybe you should just get an eyeliner…but one that works well with contact lenses…and doesn’t run. You get frustrated and buy the same products you always buy.

Wouldn’t it be nice to shop on a beauty site that acted like a trusted advisor, recommended products and allowed you to connect to other women who have similar skin/makeup/hair concerns? Well, consider that problem solved. Meet my new friend, Bloom.com, the first socially-driven beauty store.

There are a few things I really like about this site. First of all, you’ve got the opportunity to create a profile where you give your vitals (hair color and characteristics, skin tone, type and concerns, etc.) and the site will then make product recommendations for you based on your needs AND your budget called Best4You.

With hundreds of brands at a variety of price points, they’re more than capable of giving you exactly what you need at every price you can afford.

The second is that it’s got a social media aspect to it, which means you can connect to all new friends who love and recommend products (not that you can’t get your own friends to join in the fun – the more, the merrier!) You can also add products you’ve purchased and written reviews for into your “cabinet” and others can do the same…then you can snoop through like you’re at some fabulous party and get the low-down on how others get results. It’s kind of genius.

Third is the product selection. You all know that I am a beauty SNOB, so for me to give the site the stamp of approval, the brands have to be good…and they are. Everything from Revlon and L’Oreal Paris through Stila and Jouer all the way up to prestige brands like Yves Saint Laurent and SkinMedica, there’s something in there for everyone. They’ve even got some of my favorite hair care brands, like Redken, Tigi and Mizani. Bloom.com is a virtual bounty of beauty products.

Finally, we all love things for free, right? Well, each order you place comes with a GENEROUS sampler package of things for you to try out. And when I say generous, I have seen the sampler packages and they are BOUNTIFUL even by my standards…which are high, people.

So, please do immediately click here and get started playing around with my new favorite online beauty store. Even though it’s fall, it looks like all good things beauty are definitely in Bloom.
