Truth be told, I am a huge fan of this tomboyish stunner. I mean, I can respect anyone who owns her hourglass shape and tells pretty snarky jokes on the red carpet. It’s the best of both worlds in my book: a woman who can roll with the day with anyone but in the end, she’s the best of everything it means to be a woman.
I’m inspired by Jennifer Lawrence when I work out. I keep thinking about how fit she was in The Hunger Games and it makes me go a little bit harder.
Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about J-Law’s look from last night’s red carpet:
Star: Jennifer Lawrence
Gown: Dior Haute Couture
Shoes: Brian Atwood (YES, BRIAN ATWOOD. YES. Sorry, I lost it there for a minute.)
And now for the gorgeous beauty look, a product of her continuing partnership with a makeup artist legend.
Makeup Artist: Jillian Dempsey
Makeup used: L’Oreal Paris USA with a bit of Make Up For Ever and CHANEL thrown in.
Inspiration: The DRESS, peeps. Says Jillian, “I decided to play off the vibrancy of her poppy red dress with both warm and neutral hues.”
Cheeks: Pat a bit of L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Color Lift Blush in Berry Lift under the cheekbone and blend it outwards toward your ears for a gorgeous flush.
Eyes: Blend and contour L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in Army Brat 312 for a mixture of warm gold and coffee colors. Personally, this shadow quad is a must-have in my book. LOVE it. Then add CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Black for a touch of drama, and top the look with multiple coats of L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in Blackest Black ($9.95)
Lips: Go for a natural look with sheen. Layer L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Shine Stain by Colour Riche in 183 Pink Resistance (a pale pink) under L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Luminous Lipcolour in 181 Sheer Linen.
I absolutely loved Jennifer’s red carpet look last night. What did you think?
