Breaking Beauty News: Congrats to P!nk, The Newest CoverGirl Spokesperson!

I don’t know if you caught me on the COVERGIRL Facebook page a couple of weeks ago, but it was just a tiny glimpse into what it might actually be like to be a spokesperson. Such a great moment for me and it was such a fab honor to be affiliated with such a fantastic brand. I can only imagine what it would be like to be a spokeswoman for the brand.

Well, they never cease to amaze me. This just in from the That is Awesome news desk – it’s just been announced that P!nk is the newest COVERGIRL! The Grammy-winning sensation is bringing her amazing persona to the brand and challenging all of us to take more chances with our looks and to be brave when it comes to being beautiful.

I love this girl. LOVE her. Check out her quote for the announcment:

“I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music, and now my partnership with COVERGIRL to love. Joining a group of women who have always inspired me –to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look – is such an honor.”

P!nk’s brave and bold beauty will be put to good use when she becomes the face of a bold new mascara concept launching for Fall 2012. Look for the campaign – and more from the brilliant performer – to come shortly.

As someone who has a great amount of admiration for COVERGIRL and their amazing choices when it comes to spokeswomen, I just have to say that I’m REALLY excited to see what P!nk does with her contract. If we ever needed someone to come out and show everyone what it’s like to be unapologetically yourself, it would be now and it would most definitely be her.

In her own words, let’s get this party started, shall we? I’ll keep you updated on all the fab news to come.

  1. M @ Nyc says:

Is CoverGirl cruelty-free or not? I heard they are not a cruelty-free company yet animal activists like Pink & Ellen endorse them, so maybe they know something we (the public) don’t? Is CoverGirl working towards becoming a cruelty-free company? Or are these animal activists unaware CG isn’t a cruelty-free company? I’m not being sarcastic, I really AM confused. . . .
