I recently reported on a list of ways the fashion community is aiding relief for the natural disaster-stricken nation of Japan. Well, another company has decided to produce some fabulous merchandise to aid those less fortunate: Gap.
Spotted here on actress Malin Akerman, the Gap Japan Relief T-Shirt comes in three fabulous designs and retails for $24.95. All proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go toward GlobalGiving’s Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fund. The company has also made a $200,000 donation through the Gap Foundation to GlobalGiving.
As a fan of Gap t-shirts and pretty much all things that will aid the people of Japan, I’m heading out to purchase one of these myself. It might be the most fashionable way I’ve ever seen to put my heart right out there where everyone can see it.
