Celebrity Style: Angelina Jolie’s New Images for the Louis Vuitton ‘Core Values’ Campaign

This morning, WWD posted the first photos of Angelina Jolie in her new ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. As the newest face of the brand’s ‘Core Values’ campaign, the images were shot in Cambodia’s Siem Reap province by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. It’s the location where Jolie first became a humanitarian while shooting Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2000 and the country where she discovered and adopted her first child, Maddox.

Aside from the images being visually stunning (and that lust-worthy monogrammed, properly-aged Alto bag,) there’s a certain peace behind the actress’ face that I quite admire. I also seem to remember years ago that this is the type of bag (if not THE bag) that she carried as Maddox’ diaper bag. Coincidence? And can we please talk about the fact that Brad Pitt is listed in the article as Jolie’s “husband.” Does WWD have the inside scoop on the biggest gossip topic of the year? Let’s discuss, poppets.

The images will run for about 18 months and puts Jolie in excellent company with other current celebs in the campaign like Bono and Sean Connery. Previous ‘Core Values’ campaign celeb spokespeople include Keith Richards and Catherine Deneuve.

Thoughts on the new campaign images?

She looks great! I do think she is wearing makeup. Some press says she is not wearing makeup. Stunningly beautiful!
