I’m not really a fan of fussy dressing, as these outfit photos plainly display. I think sex appeal lies in your own ease, and if I’m pulling at my clothes and fidgety, I can’t of anything less attractive, no matter how fancy the label. Which is why I tend to gravitate toward looks like this one.

Honestly, I am constantly amazed at the versatility of this chambray shirt from Coldwater Creek. I have yet to find a look that it can’t handle, particularly when paired with rocker waxed skinnies and ankle boots.

I repeat, this shirt is from Coldwater Creek, so call your mom and let her know that there’s a new sheriff in town over there. The designs are emerging in that store, and they’re attracting a really great range of stylish women.

I simply added a statement necklace from Lulu Frost and a gorgeous cuff from The Middle to round out the look. Simple, easy and ready to head out for the night. It’s light enough to handle a breezy summer evening, but I love this look moving into fall, particularly with a great blazer or statement coat added. It’s the ultimate canvas and it’s super simple: denim shirt, waxed skinnies, ankle boots, statement jewelry. Done.
