Cozy In The Cold

Every once in a while, I have to get dressed up and go out in the cold. This is probably my least favorite thing to do, especially since I essentially hibernate the minute snow hits the ground. Pulling me away from hot chocolate and Netflix is a chore, but I do it.

I’ve become a big fan of sweaters and sequins. The more I can stay warm and look cute, the happier I feel. Throw a faux fur vest over it and I’m dressed and ready to go.

I’m also sort of obsessed with these cut-out boots, which are really a “spring thing” that you’ll see me style again once the weather warms up.

The color is perfect, and I’ve worn them with really thick slouchy socks and tights all winter with no problem. The rest of the look (well, maybe not the hat) has to be stashed by spring.

Stay warm, everyone!

What I’m Wearing: Talbots cashmere sweater (similar styles here); Club Monaco Faux Fur Vest (similar styles here); Zara sequined tube skirt (it is on sale and it is GOING FAST); Hue tights; Zara boots (gone, but check out this similar style from Jeffrey Campbell here); Catazari felt fedora hat for ASOS
