Dedicated Post: 6 Tips to Revive Tired-Looking Skin

Wake up, buttercup! It's time to refresh your skin for spring!

Spring has now officially sprung and everything looks all fresh and new…except your face. Winter cold winds and blasting indoor heat has done anything but help your complexion, and now you’re staring back at sensitive skin that’s less than ready to face the rites of spring. Your skin just looks kind of, well, tired.

How do you wake up your face? Easy! Here are six super-easy tips to help revive tired skin with facial skincare products that will give you the spring glow you deserve.

Exercise – Blood flowing to the face is one of the best ways to flush out toxins and to get a flush of health. Be sure to cleanse your face after working out (bring Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes with you to cleanse, refresh and nourish skin.) Let it air dry while you blow your hair out for a dewy glow.

Drink plenty of water – The eight-glasses-a-day rule is VITAL. Hydrated skin is healthy, plump and youthful-looking skin. Replace the water you’ve lost in harsh, arid environments by drinking water. Bonus points: green, leafy vegetables, water-based veggies (celery, bok choy) and fruits (watermelon, kiwi) are great for sneaking in extra water.

Exfoliate – All that great new skin can’t be seen if it’s covered by a layer of dead skin. Use a gentle exfoliant to remove dead, dry skin and reveal brighter, more evenly textured skin, like Simple Skincare Smoothing Facial Scrub. Bonus points: When using an exfoliator, I recommend applying with the tips of your fingers to ensure gentle application.

Soothe parched tissues & wake up tired eyes – Your skin gets inflamed and a bit angry when it’s subjected to temperatures changes and things that rob it of its moisture balance. It can also loose its smooth, gorgeous appearance after an exhausting day, so look for products to soothe and reduce the appearance of puffiness like the Simple Skincare Revitalizing Eye Roll-On. Watch what you eat – I’ve said it before, but white sugar and white flour irritate skin and they make you look sallow and tired. Try removing processed foods from your diet and eat whole grains and natural sweeteners. Swap honey (a natural humectant) for white sugar and see if it doesn’t make a difference. Bonus points:  Wash your face and slather a thin layer of honey over your skin. Cover your head with a towel and place your face over a steaming bowl of water, allowing the steam to lock in the moisture from the honey. Remove with a damp, warm washcloth and moisturize. You’ll be amazed at the results.

Get some sleep – By the way, your skin might look tired because YOU’RE TIRED. Aim to turn the TV off an hour before bed, darken and cool your bedroom, turn off the phone and get at least eight hours of sleep a night.

      I WAS WONDERING DO U RECIEVE SAMPLES!!! WOULD LOVE TO TRY THIS I HAVE USED EVERYTHING U CAN IMAGINE AND IT HASNT HELPED IT ALWAYS BREAKS MY FACE OUT.. THANK YOU, GOD BLESS
