Eco-Chic Beauty Must-Have: Tata Harper Natural Skin Care

You all know that I am extremely picky about what I put on my skin.  Hey, look, your skin is the largest organ of the body, so whatever you “feed” it impacts not only its performance and appearance but the rest of the body as well. So, when I get word of a skincare line that’s organic, natural and – wait for it – effective, I’m all over it. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the natural, botanical and highly-effective skincare of Tata Harper.

Tata will tell you herself that she’s not a skincare expert. This is someone who got extremely tired of searching for skincare that was actually good for her skin so she took matters into her own hands and created something completely fresh and new. She embarked upon a global quest to research the most effective natural ingredients in the world and brought them back to her farm in Vermont to combine them with locally-grown and resourced organic items to create a line of skincare that is as effective as it is delightful to use. Having had a good two weeks of experience with these products, I’m not going to lie: I’m completely hooked, Organic skin care is the way to go if you want to keep your skin free of unnatural chemicals.

The products are locally and rigorously tested (on people, not animals) and the first thing you notice is the scent. Let’s talk about this for a minute. You know how you get a body product that smells like, say, lavender? Because one of the main ingredients is lavender and there are perfumes to enhance that scent so it’s the premiere note of the fragrance. These products have scents that are lush and intoxicating but they can’t be described in one note. That’s due to the fact that Tata and her team were more focused on making sure the ingredients were effective more than focusing on the scent. The result are products that soak in immediately and leave your skin feeling nourished, hydrated, smooth and alive.

What more could you ask for from a skincare system? How about earth-friendly packaging? All the containers are glass (easy recycling) and the labels are the only paper packaging for each item. Simply peel the labels back and read the instructions.

Normally, I would recommend specific items in a skincare line but I’m going to simply make one big recommendation: buy anything and everything in this collection. There’s everything for everybody in this line, from a gentle cleanser to a hydrating body oil. The prices are a tad higher but skip a meal out and give your skin a delicious meal in for a change. Your complexion (and your body) will thank you.
