You might have seen the dedicated post I just did for CLEAR Scalp & Beauty Therapy earlier today. Well, actually, a few did because I got a bunch of questions about what I’m wearing in the photos, so let me briefly describe the look at what the items are.
The post was to give my tips for the makings of the best girl’s night out, of which I am a huge fan. I think time with your besties is one of the great joys in life. Do it as often as possible.
The look is to show that you can take basic items from your wardrobe and turn them into a great GNO look without having to spend a ton of money. The blazer creates angles to nip in the waist, the dark skinnies elongate the leg and give you the illusion of slimness and height (and they give EVERYONE a great butt.) Pile on the bracelets and it’s rocker glam all the way. Here’s what I’m wearing:
- Blazer: H&M
- Burnout tee: David Lerner (no longer available, but other great styles here)
- Jeans: Super Skinny Ankle Jeans in Royal from Henry & Belle (these are SUPER CURVE FRIENDLY and oh so comfy – I LIVE IN THESE)
- Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff Delight bag for mark
- Necklaces: Ranjana Khan for The Limited (no longer available, but other great styles here) and my beloved Love Letters by India Hicks initial pendant.
And now for the accessories. Right wrist (seen on left in this photo), we have top to bottom: my meditation/prayer bracelet, Forever 21, Linea Pelle Double-Wrap bracelet, vintage and even more Forever 21. On my left wrist (other side) we have from top to bottom: Stella & Dot Pyramid Double-Wrap Bracelet in Cognac, Forever 21, a BRERA Supersportivo watch in Black and a mark. ring (no longer available, but the Pretty Stellar ring is mighty boss.Shoes: Leopard-print Peg wedges from Mossimo for Target, which are virtually indestructible, super-comfy and are still in that condition after 8 months of wear. GET THEM.
What do you think? Will you try this rocker glam look this weekend? At any rate, hope you have your Best Night Ever this weekend!
