Fashion Solution: Tops That Expose Your Back (And Hide Other Flaws)

With summer getting into the hotter days, it’s hard to keep from stripping completely naked. How does someone who doesn’t like to show a lot of skin supposed to get her flirt on? You’ve got to expose a little skin to get your flirt on, which is why I’m going to convince you to expose a forgotten erogenous zone: your back.

Sans tramp stamps and other regalia of yore, a woman’s back is an unexpected treat and a surprise display of flesh that can send pulses racing. Even better – you don’t really gain weight along your spine, kids! Check out these alluring options for instant sassy appeal:

A.L.C. makes the Sleeveless Sexy Back Top (shown at top, $150) and the Long Sleeve Sexy Back Top ($174). Each supersoft cotton top is light, breezy and casual cute until you turn around and see a sliver of lower back action peeking out. Hot.

This flowy Feel the Piece V-Back Cashmere Sweater ($214) shows off some sexy upper back action. Now, here’s something I think is beyond cool when styling: take long necklaces and wear them backwards stacked. It’ll look like a chain choker in the front and then when you turn around, trails of necklaces over your exposed back. And it’s lightweight cashmere, which makes you infinitely touchable.

Need an evening option? Check out this Asos One-Shoulder Slinky Backless Top ($47.17.) Grecian-style draping with one shoulder in the front, dramatic exposed back action when you turn around. This top adds instant nighttime allure to everything from a pencil skirt to black jeans.

Next time you need to show off a little of the goods without giving away everything (a lady does have her secrets, after all,) check out these spectacular tops and remain cool in the knowledge that, well, if they love to see you coming, they’ll be in for a treat when they watch you leave.
