Sunday night is my favorite night to catch up on reading, posts and all things Pinterest (follow me if you’re not already at FSBDiva.) It’s also my time to catch up on all the amazing videos I haven’t had a chance to watch during the week. Here are my faves from this week:
LOVED the Balmain Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection video, which the folks at Fashionista rightly said looks to have been inspired by French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt (one of my personal fashion heroes.) It’s seductive and set to a jazz soundtrack that will make you swoon. An excellent play of hard lines and soft, feminine fabrics. It’s darkly seductive and a chic take on well-bred taste with rocker lines and edge.
The CEO of SPANX, Sara Blakely, made the Forbes Billionaire list. If you have an idea, here’s inspiration on how to ride that right to the top. Remember, kids: it started with a pair of pantyhose and NO formal marketing.
The new Madonna video teaser for “Girl Gone Wild” is out. If you’ve not seen it, it’s kind of like the video for “Erotica” with elements from “Human Nature” baked in. But it’s worth 0:27 of your time.
The new video from Florence + The Machine for the single “Never Let Me Go” was released this week. It’s visually beautiful and further solidifies Florence Welch as the powerhouse singer she is. Enjoy.
Finally, I am the world’s biggest Patti Hansen fan (original rocker model chick, wife of Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, mother of some of the coolest rock offspring ever) and she’s part of the new Net-A-Porter campaign with her daughter Theodora Richards. Watch for their favorite closet items and must-haves for spring.
Enjoy! I’m off to do my nails. It IS Sunday night, after all!
