Indie Designer Spotlight: hena et daniel Scarves

I am a woman who loves a good accessory. You could have on the most basic jeans and t-shirt look and with the addition of the right couple of items head into some of the chicest events, like Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. A great accessory, like a gorgeous scarf, has the power to completely transform not only your look but your outlook. In a word, the right thing at the right time can make your day or night even more special.

Hence my new obsession, hena et daniel. Created by two incredibly chic New Yorkers, Hena Chun and Daniel Chung (who is also one of my favorite menswear bloggers, known as the modman,) these amazing scarves were created to be the pop of color in an otherwise almost-all-black New York wardrobe. The diaphanous creations are oversized billowing sheets of bright chiffon silk that loop effortlessly over the neck with fabric to spare. In short, these scarves are sheer perfection and you REALLY need to get one.

The scarves are available in Kelly green, chartreuse, fuchsia and cobalt. Get in on this gorgeous emerging line. It might be the most amazing accessory you add all year from a label that’s about to blow up in a big way. You can learn more about them via their Facebook page.

    Love the scarf color!

  2. Tiffany Smith says:

Are they still selling their kelly green scarves anywhere? How much are they? I’d like need to get 250 for a May 2012 reunion depending on cost and availability.
