I am someone who likes to follow the concept that there’s really no saving items for “that occasion.” I think you should use the good china, have a drink with the good stemware and break out the good cookies because it’s Monday. It’s my belief that the more little luxuries you experience on a regular basis ensures that LIFE is a special event, not some reward for austerity and strife. Treat yourself well and you set an example of how others should treat you.
This applies to my all-time favorite activity: bubble baths. As someone who lives for the Beauty of All Things Bubbles, I am constantly on the search for the best bath products in which to soak and delight my cares, woes and thoughts away. This past weekend, I discovered Palatium, rich bath products inspired by Mediterranean and Ancient Rome. The products are incredibly nourishing to the skin and turned my winter dry skin from gladiator to goddess with just one use.
No, seriously, it’s bubble bath to end all baths.
Here’s what I used:
Palatium Roman Bath Oil in Spiced Fig, which is a blend of organic Tuscan olive oil as well as other nourishing oils such as organic soybean, primrose and jojoba. They’ve also added green and white tea extracts as well as Vitamin E for skin conditioning that will truly blow your mind. If you don’t have dry skin, a very little amount will do. If you have dry skin, go for a more generous dose. The scent is a light mixture of fig and spices from Jerusalem and Alexandria. Gorgeous.
Palatium Replenishing Foam for Bath or Shower in Sweet Orange, a product that can also be used in the shower (for you non-bath people, although I don’t understand you.) It gives good foaming action and also contains Tuscan olive oil, aloe vera, and floral extracts of Vitamin C ester and soothing chamomile to transport you to another universe. The fragrance is inspired by the essence of Italian orange groves. Think a whiff of citrus rather than fruity. It’s delightful.
So, these gorgeous products now have an honorary place in my bathing routine and I loved them so much that I’m telling you about them. Check the products via their website and give yourself a little trip to paradise.
As a matter of fact, I think I might just go take another bubble bath. Ciao, bellas.
