#30ishDaysofLips: Maybelline BabyLips Dr. Rescue

Ok, so June sidelined me with a stress fracture, so shooting these was nearly impossible. But, since I really, REALLY want to do this (and I want you guys to get a lot of free lip products,) it’s back on like Donkey Kong.

Boom. Here we go.

I really love a good colored lip balm. On days where you just want to look somewhat alive while you run errands and/or you want to soothe your chapped lips without the look screaming “MEDICATED LIP GLOSS,” a soothing balm with a light delivery of color is the way to go.

This is where Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Medicated Lip Balm is an express delivery from the heavens. It’s a medicated lip balm with just enough tint to amplify your natural lip color just that much-needed touch while delivering instant soothing for fever blisters, cold sores, etc. It’s amazing if you have sun- or wind-parched lips (or, you know, live in a large city and ride public transportation which sucks the life out of you,) and provides 12 continue hours of hydration. I’m not even kidding.

The light wash of color is amazing: perfectly natural, pretty neutral. Maybelline’s tagline is “Maybe she’s born with it,” and this gloss that heightens your natural beauty is absolutely the tool to answer that question with a resounding “yes.”

And then you put this balm back in your purse and refuse to answer further questions.
