Rebecca Taylor Fall 2011 Collection
The designer evidently took notes from her past collections but added new embellishments to replay her classics with a new twist. Both strong suiting and separates in a mixture of fabric options came down the runway interspersed with flowing dressed in a mishmash of her storied prints that made for an eclectic collection.
Who should wear it: Rebecca Taylor is a line that’s for the grown up woman with girlish, feminine taste. The silhouettes can range from quite sophisticated to girly but always with a flair for the whimsical when it comes to her prints and mixtures of fabrics. This is great for a woman who like to be taken seriously but likes that hint of feminine flair when it comes to her clothes. I also like the collection because it works on a variety of sizes. You don’t have to be thin or tall to look good in her wares.
Where should you wear it: Taylor’s provided plenty of work wardrobe separates and elegant pieces that would be great for a day to night wardrobe for the regular business woman. Bankers and other more severe corporate types might want to stick to the jackets and daytime pieces. The feminine dresses with lovely embellishment will work better for more creative types. The evening options would work fine for almost anyone.
How do you wear it: This is a collection that begs to be interspersed throughout your wardrobe. A few key pieces (a flirty printed dress, a gorgeous sweater coat with luxe trimmed hood) that will you some strong pieces to diversify your wardrobes.Patterns and textures collided for a collection that is fun, feminine and with individual pieces that will be perfect for fall.
