It’s no secret if you read my site that I am a fan of Rebecca Minkoff’s amazing clothing and accessories. It’s a very simple formula for me: if you want gorgeous clothes with a dash of edge and a nod to current trends mixed with enviable accessories that might get you mugged on the street (New York girls will KILL for a good pair of shoes, kids,) then you should consider yourself a Minkoff girl. I know I do.

The Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2012 Collection was a vibrant, amazing collection of Minkoff’s design aesthetic – feminine silhouettes played nicely with downtown edgy staples and accents. Beautiful skirts and flowing dresses in light and airy prints played along with floral prints and edgier fare like a snakeskin-printed motorcycle jacket and a leather dress.

Pops of strong color made their appearance this season in jackets, dresses and a gorgeous neon clutch with some serious hardware (my obsession with her bags is kind of legendary – I have a Minkoff bag problem.) The Minkoff girl has some gorgeous career separates to play with this season as well, with short suits and more work-appropriate blouses playing alongside sexy evening options.

In short, if you’re looking to add a dash of downtown edge to your wardrobe or you’re looking to add some stylish options to your already edgy wardrobe, this is a collection ripe with options. Mark your calendars for the delivery of the Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2012 collection. You won’t be disappointed.
