I had a chance to take in Son Jung Wan’s presentation last season and was so impressed with her stylish and feminine creations that I took great interest in her Spring 2012 collection.  I wasn’t disappointed.

For next year’s turn to warmer temperatures, Son Jung Wan took us to the Isle of Capri and gave us clothing for luxury vacations and easy wares for turning up the heat day and night. With a color palette that was inspired by the sea, bright skies, sand and shimmering waters it’s easy to see how one could start to plan a vacation around this wardrobe.

With cuts that were easy on a multitude of silhouettes and a collection full of dresses and separates that could send the most suit-heavy wardrobe on a much-needed vacation, it’s easy to see why the designer is considered the Diane Von Furstenberg of Korea and their #1 designer. If you can see out her lovely designs here in the US, I encourage you to give them a look this coming season. It’s a wardrobe that’s easy to wear and a delightful set of wares that will inspire you.
