I’m literally on my way out the door to attend what will inevitably be one of the coolest things NYC fashion fans have seen since Alexander Wang showed his runway show in its entirety in Times Square. I need you to know about it because I want you to check it out first thing tomorrow!
Tonight, Polo Ralph Lauren will enter the fourth dimension. That’s right: promptly at 8 pm ET, two lanes of Madison Avenue will be shut down to traffic and filled with spectators (this includes the general public as well) where the Ralph Lauren women’s flagship store will literally appear to be manipulated in front of our eyes. Like a scene right out of Inception, there are multiple images that will fly from the building (including the designer himself), it will disappear, sway, and reappear as the walls fall away and we’re treated to a virtual runway show complete with models. It promises to be a sight to behold and a spectacle that the legendary designer and his brilliant son, David Lauren, who serves as Polo Ralph Lauren’s senior vice president of advertising, marketing, and corporate communications.
If you check out the images, you’ll see how impossibly cool this promises to be and I’d love for you to experience it with us. Tomorrow head to the Ralph Lauren website, where you can check out the experience for yourself. It promises to be an experience like no other.
