I know, it’s been forever since I’ve posted one of these, so apologies for getting a tad caught up. I owe you smiles and a mix to which you can collectively shake your groove thang, and hopefully this mix accomplishes both.
I’m still having a chick power moment when it comes to my music, and since Fashion Week starts this week, I need all the energy I can get. Therefore, I wanted chicks who can serve up some rump-shakers, so I made a mix of some newer dance songs mixed in with a lot of classic stuff: Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Britney Spears evidently play well on this list with some old Spice Girls and Missy Elliott.
This is the week I’m also back to my morning workouts, so it’s especially important to have a new playlist to make sure I get my carcass out of the covers. I have 20 lbs to go, and I’m determined to get there by my birthday in June. Time’s a-wastin, so join me, won’t you? Let’s live it up and dance like no one is watching.
