Must-Have Relaxation: Six Essentials To The Perfect Sunday Beauty Regimen

I looooove Sundays. They’re honestly the one day I turn off the phone, shut down all the devices and just focus on myself and what needs to be done. I have some very basic essentials that I have to have to make my Sundays as serene as possible.

Tazo African Red Bush Tea – I am a tea obsessed person and this is one of my all-time favorite beverages on the planet. I make a huge pot of it and drink the first glass hot, but then proceed to drink the entire container over the course of the day iced with mashed mint leaves and lemon at the bottom. Oh, and TONS of honey. YUM.

Young Fabulous and Broke Sierra Pant – I’ve written about these ultra-fabulous lounge pants before and I’ll say it again: you will find no more comfortable and stylish casual pant on Earth. This is yoga wear you can literally live in all day. You want to know what this blogger puts on after she showers in the morning? Bingo. Plus, they’re nice enough to run errands without looking sloppy. Sooo cute with flip flops.

Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask – Sundays are major repair time for me, so I typically slather this on my hair when it’s dry in the morning, go about my tasks that morning and then wash it out after I workout in the afternoon. It leaves my hair incredibly soft and hydrated and it apologizes for all the heat and weather damage from the week.

June Jacobs Spa Collection Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque – One of my most important secrets to skincare is anything and EVERYTHING done by the amazing June Jacobs. This genius mask uses natural papaya enzymes alongwith extracts of mango and pineapple to gently dissolve the grossness at the surface of your skin and infuse your newly cleaned, purified skin with hydrating nourishment like sweet almond oil and borage seed. The result is skin that is clean (<ahem> the makeup you slept in Wednesday night) with incredible tone and a more elastic, youthful appearance.  I put it on out of the shower when I get home from working out and rinse it off before making dinner.

Bliss out during 60 Minutes. I have to watch this show every Sunday night, but I also like to get the most out of my time, so I file and buff my nails and cuticles to make sure no edges are showing. I then slather on Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream which has great ingredients to soothe and smooth without feeling greasy…

and then slip my hands into Bliss Glamour Gloves. I leave them on for the entire broadcast. My hands are hydrated and supple beyond my wildest dreams.

Enjoy the day, folks!
