Even though the tents just folded, I wanted to share some of my favorite snaps from behind-the-scenes at the tents. These photos were taken backstage at Donna Karan New York before the models walked the runway.
The super-sleek updos were created for the runway for the models that weren’t wearing hats by Eugene Souleiman of Wella Professionals. Literally, this is wet hair slicked around the head like a wrap set. It was gorgeous, and thankfully it was the models’ last show. The sleek style was courtesy of Punky Super Gel, which Souleiman discovered in Japan years ago. “You could build a house with that stuff,” he claimed. Judging from the durability of this style, I don’t doubt it. My tub needs caulking. I’m seriously considering breaking into this stuff.

Gorgeous nails by Michelle Saunders for Essie were created with Spin The Bottle, a beautiful semi-sheer pale nude that would blend flawlessly with the clothes.
