The power of social media is never to be underestimated, people. We’re here, we’re fierce and we’re not going anywhere. One of my favorite blogs of practically all time is Bag Snob, penned by the lovely and hilarious Tina Craig and Kelly Cook. The ladies have captured the true hearts of those of us who would rather throw ourselves in front of a moving car than be caught dead with an ugly handbag. Just sayin’..
Well, our blogging stylistas have made good with a handbag collaboration with one of my beloveds. Ladies, I bring you some of the first images of the Bag Snob x DKNY Limited Edition Collection.
The creative genius collaboration between Bag Snobs and one of my favorite lines as you know has created a rather fabulous limited edition collection that’s like a greatest hits of all the shapes and silhouettes that’s worthy of a true handbag maven. As in, the five essential bags that every girl needs – period. Debuting for the Resort 2012 traveler, feast your eyes on the collection:
The Treasure Bag – a tri-color matte leather satchel with a croc-embossed flap and bright detachable shoulder strap. Red stitching throughout. AMAZE.
The Clutch – My personal favorite (and a lovely gift from my ladies – thanks!) this gorgeous genuine leather clutch is the perfect thing for those of us with a busy nightlife. The sequined flap adds just the right touch of dazzle.
The Trendy Bag – a chic crossbody leather bag with a cheetah-printed haircalf flap (you know how I love a cross body.) Oh, and the strap can convert into a belt bag for those of you who like that kind of thing.
The Tote – Like a classic flight attendant tote from the days of yore (Pan Am, anyone?) this gorgeous bag has a tall square silhouette and color blocking for the ultimate in get-up-and-go style.
The Travel Bag – A gorgeous leather bag for the girl on the go (and when are we not?), this gorgeous round leather satchel has a suede stripe and amazing scarlet lining with two separate pockets. ADORE.
The bags are available online NOW and will hit select stores shortly. Bag Snobs, unite! Check out and own a piece of this gorgeous collection.
And then, you know, tweet about it. I’m sure @dkny and @bagsnob would love to hear from you. 🙂
