I have but one general philosophy when it comes to my hair: keep it simple. I was raised on the principle that the less you do to your skin, the less you will ever have to do to your skin, and I’ve found that as I get older the same rules apply to my hair. I like to use really good, tried-and-true products that will nourish my hair and keep it healthy, aside from using a hair dryer for curly hair specifically. I test a good number of things, but only a few will make it into my shower.
My family has been using Head & Shoulders since I was little, and I can honestly say that I’m continually impressed with how the products continue to deliver shiny, healthy hair even to this day. I’m particularly obsessed with the new Moisture Care line for textured hair, which includes a co-wash for those of us who need a lot of hydration to keep things supple and healthy on our heads. Along with a head of regularly nourished curls (or a smooth, bouncy blowout, depending on my mood), I’m also comfortable that my scalp is clean and in good condition. As someone who’s trying to grow their hair out, a clean, stimulated scalp is vital. I’m pretty pleased with the results, I must say.
If you want to try a little Head & Shoulders action yourself, the good folks at Target are running a little deal: If you buy three (3) Head & Shoulders products, you get a $5 Target gift card (offer good until 5/16/14). Not a bad deal to stock up for the upcoming summer of regular hair washing, right? Also, be sure to check out the limited-edition design bottles, just for Target shoppers. So cool, so awesome…such shower appeal.
By the way, how amazing and brilliant is Target as an endless supply of beauty options? Every time I walk into that store for something, I wind up walking the aisles of get gorgeous options. Pretty much anything you need is there. If Target doesn’t have it, you probably don’t need it (or maybe not as much as you think you do.)
I love the way my hair looks and feels using this brand, and any good hair day is a winner in my book. I’m having a lot of them lately, and I think these products have a lot to do with it.
