This post is brought to you as part of my role as a Microsoft Office Champion, but the opinions expressed within are strictly my own.
One of the most fun things I get to do all year is New York Fashion Week. If you’ve followed this blog for a bit, you know that I’m usually crazed, running around covering shows and snapping photographs, hoping to give you a keen eye into what it’s like to attend and what you’ll hopefully be wearing in the coming season. It’s hectic, it’s non-stop and it’s hard to keep all the details straight.
This season, I’m extremely happy to partner with Microsoft as an Office Champion to put their tools to the test during the rigors of Fashion Week. Because, a little backstory, here: when I first agreed to do the Champion role, I actually issued a challenge, to show you how vigorous of a workout these products can get under eight straight days of shows, backstage interviews, photo opportunities, styling shoots and after parties. As part of a three-part video series, I’m finally going to get to show you what it’s like to attend the shows and how deftly the Office 365 programs and the Microsoft tools handle one of the toughest, non-stop busy periods of my life. This is my go-time, it’s my version of the Super Bowl, and I need all the help I can get.
The video above is the first in the series, which is how I get ready for Fashion Week. Some new stars are along for the ride, namely a rather fabulous Surface Pro 2 and a gorgeous Nokia 1020 Windows phone, which I’ll be using to document my super crazy life, outfits and expenses while I race from place to place. See also: you get a peek into where I live. This is the first time my apartment has ever been shown on film ever. Come on in, I cleaned. 🙂
The best part of using Office 365 is the ease in which you can take it Out of Office. Join me at Fashion Week, won’t you? It’s going to be a blast!
