Spring 2013 Fashion Picks: Henri Bendel Accessories

IMG_2823

Guys, let’s be honest here: I have a bit of an accessories shopping problem.

Well, I’m not sure I’d call it a PROBLEM, per se. Because I love investing in tons of baubles that can make an ordinary t-shirt and jeans into such a spectacular look that you want a red carpet at the grocery store. But the deal is, I love accessories at a great price.

Which is why I wanted to share my favorite picks from the Henri Bendel Spring 2013 Accessories collection. Gorgeous, amazing and impactful, these handbags and jewelry items are the fastest way to go on trend and on demand, no matter what you currently have in your wardrobe.

When I first moved to New York City (<cough> a long time ago), Bendel’s was the first department store I visited. I needed a good statement piece to spice up my wardrobe.

When I entered the famous brown-and-white awning stripe entrance, I knew I was in the right place and it was there I purchased my first statement necklace.

It’s my secret location for awesome accessories without breaking the bank.

Well, now it’s not so secret.

Because, honestly, who wants to buy all new clothes each season? Add a statement necklace, a great bag and throw a candle in the bathroom and call it a day.

You know what your style is. Just add a bauble here and there and it’s a whole new look.

That’s the trick to style over 30, I think: tweaking what you already have, constantly editing to just make it the best, freshest version of yourself.

All of these accessories are luxe, lovely and at a variety of great prices, coming soon to my beloved Henri Bendel here in Manhattan and online.
