OK, so I have a ton of friends who are very adept and amazing at what are called OOTD photos or “Outfit of the Day” pictures. I am not traditionally someone who has really been comfortable with posting these types of photos of myself. but recently I’ve thought, hey, I’ll bet a lot of you have the same challenges I have when looking at cute street style that you like but then think about how your boobs or backside would fit into THAT. Yep, me too. Anyway, here’s everything except the underwear for my black tie look for the Style Coalition Oscars Party.

The jumpsuit is RACHEL Rachel Roy from last year and is no longer available.  Sizes Small to Large (about a 10-12) should check out this strapless Indah Avril Strapless Jumpsuit ($102 at shopbop.) Lovelies of the plus sized range check out the Baby Phat Crush One-Shoulder Jumper ($69, available via their site.) They’re both sharp options.

The belt is a beaded necklace I picked up in a sale bin for about $5 on final clearance. I like this Sequined Ribbon Belt from LOFT ($34) and you can wear it day or night.

Shoes are Isabel Toledo for Payless from her first collection. They also, unfortunately, are no longer available.

The jewelry is a crazy mix of vintage and low. It’s vintage Monet Jewelry, a Forever 21 Pyramid Hinge Bracelet ($8.80), a set of R.J. Graziano “Go Glam” Set of 10 Crystal-Accented Bangle Bracelets in Goldtone Multi ($59.90 via HSN) a Forever 21 “Sky’s The Limit” Bracelet ($8.80) and a bunch of Forever 21 Elastic Jeweled Bracelets ($8.80.) Proof that you don’t have to spend a fortune to look like a million.

The makeup is really simple. I’m wearing Neutrogena Healthy Skin Eye Brightening Eye Perfector ($11.99, which I use everywhere instead of foundation) over L’Oreal Youth Code Serum ($21.99) After that, it’s NARS Blush in Sex Appeal ($27,) SEPHORA Collection Retractable Waterproof Black Eyeliner ($12,) and COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Very Black ($7.99.)

The coral lips were a bit hit and a major nod to spring trends. You can get my low-key approach by layering three products: MAC Cremestick Liner in Summerfruit ($14.50,) then adding MAC Lipstick in Neon Orange ($14.50,) and then top it off with MAC Tinted Lipglass in Pink Lemonade ($14.50.) It will give you a coral lip that will wear beautifully all night.

Enjoy this look for your next big night on the town!
