Pants like these worn with the shirt I wore in yesterday’s post create what Mom Booker calls “an outfit.” As a matter of fact, my mom lives to create “outfits”, coordinated marvels of color that look as if they were made for each other. I have always admired Mom’s ability to put outfits together, but I think that’s also what has fostered my lifelong desire to tear them apartment and remix them into a bazillion different outfits that have nothing to do with each other.
I love these pants with a bathing suit for poolside relaxation, but the way I would take them to the street is to add another pattern – in this case, stripes – and frame the whole look with a black blazer. Add some skyscraper leather heels and I think this look suits me a bit more.
How would you remix these pants? I mean, at this price, feel free to mix them about 100 different ways. They’re perfect for summer!
