I recently had to submit some photos for a StyleUnited article and the challenge was how to wear head-to-toe winter white. Truth be told, H2T anything is complicated and I’m also someone who tends to mess up anything white I own. Rest assured that if it’s in the white/snow/oatmeal/cream family, I will have a stain on it by the end of the day.
But I thought this challenge was pretty interesting, since there are some tricks to doing it. I’ll post the link to the SU article once it comes up, but my main tip (without spoiling anything) is to mix textures of whites so it has balance. You also have to watch proportions, like a longer sweater on top to balance the white skinnies.
But all in all, I love this look, which is something you might see me playing around in when I’ve got meetings that don’t require a suit and/or a brunch with friends on the weekend.
Winter white, all white, it doesn’t matter: try it. You might be surprised at home much you like it. 🙂
