Although the content within this post is brought to you as part of my role as an Brand Ambassador/Office Champion for Microsoft, the opinions within are strictly my own.
As many of you know from the big announcement last month, I’m thrilled to be partnering with Microsoft as a champion for their Office 365 product. As someone like you who struggles to keep personal and professional life going as efficiently and pain-free as possible, I love anything that helps me manage the details at my desk and in the field covering stories. This is exactly why I love partnering with them, and why I wanted to let you very quickly know about Get it Done Day, which is TODAY across the country!
I’m on my way to the installation in Times Square today, but here’s a little about what’s happening today:
“With the holiday season quickly approaching, the need to get things done away from the office has never been greater…or more desirable. To help people realize how – and what – they can get done no matter where they are, Microsoft is declaring November 7th Get It Done Day and starting a movement for the unbound accomplishers – everyone from the Enterprise Chief Technology Officer to household Chief Family Officers. To bring the day to life, Microsoft will host installations in the form of giant checkmarks throughout New York City on November 7th to highlight where major accomplishments are getting done and changing the world. We’ll also showcase how people can collaborate and work together in real-time using technology like Office 365. Those living in New York can pop by the Microsoft Office hub location in Times Square, between 46th & 47th on November 7th, and if you’re not in town, anyone can use the #GetItDone hashtag to join the movement. And from Nov. 7th- 21st people can also visit www.office.com/getitdone to enter for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime!”
If you’re in Manhattan and you come by Times Square today at 1 pm, I will be there, taking photos of all the happenings of #GetItDone day (and I’ll be posting them later this evening along with more info,) but click and participate no matter where you are. That’s the great thing about Microsoft…you can get things done no matter WHERE you are.
More photos and goodies later, but join the movement using the #getitdone hashtag and join the movement!
