This weekend was actually rather low-key, but filled with such gorgeous images that I thought I had to share. If you follow me on Instagram, some of these might be a touch of repeat, but some of them are kinda new. Here’s what I just printed and put on this week’s board.
Today was kind of a regular ritual where I do a double workout: Soul Survivor (a 1 hr-long killer class at SoulCycle with fitness pied piper instructor, Danny Kopel), followed by Music Yoga Flow at exhale mind body spa. My friend, Amber Katz of Beauty Blogging Junkie, accompanied me for the latter part of today’s Quest for a Flatter Stomach 2013 and we hopped into Le Pain Quotidien afterwards to recuperate and nosh. This lovely skim mocha came with a design so cute, I had to share. Also, it has me realizing I should add more chocolate brown to my wardrobe, like this MICHAEL Michael Kors Chocolate Brown Watch.
One of the best things about working for yourself is that you can set your own hours. Since I work pretty much 6 days a week, I have a rule that I don’t work after 3 pm on Fridays. This particular Friday, I met my friend Jenna at The Shops at Columbus Circle, where I was lured by the beautiful Christmas lights. If you haven’t dropped by lately, please come take a look at the lights that will be up through the holidays (and stop into the MasterCard lounge for a moment of sanity when you want to sit down, cardholders – best thing ever.) These lights also reminded me that I need to get a lavender top for my new AG Adriano Goldschmeid jacket.
Speaking of Jenna, my friend has a tiny obsession with a little store – maybe you’ve heard of it? – called J.Crew. Truth be told, Jenna has a J.Crew Jones, and she took me along with her on the hunt for a particular pair of riding boots. I’ve fallen deeply under the spell of the store myself (more in a post later today) and became BESOTTED with this look. Yep, that’s a pajama top. I will be rocking this on the flight home for the holidays on Christmas morning. Talk about easy, comfy and cool!
I mean, let’s call this what it is: inspirational. What exactly is inspirational about it? Everything. Smoking hot dudes, washboard abs, etc. If you haven’t stopped by the 2(x)ist Holiday Pop-Up Shop, please do. It’s in Times Square (40th and Broadway) and it’ll be open until Christmas Eve. All the comfy undies will be on sale and 100% of the proceeds go to the American Red Cross Relief Fund. So, hopefully these lovely gentlemen will inspire you to get shopping. I know I nabbed some items…and resolved to up my ab workouts. 🙂
What inspired you this weekend? How was your weekend?
