Weight Loss Video Diary: Two Weeks Of Core Fusion at Exhale And I’m Down A Dress Size!

Ok, so it’s Tuesday and you know what that means – it’s time for another Weight Loss Video Diary. This also marks two weeks of my 90-Day Core Fusion Challenge with exhale and here’s the video diary:

As you can see, I’m more than a little excited! Here are the results I’ve achieved in two weeks of taking the class:

  • I am now officially one dress size smaller! I did a little shopping yesterday and the only size that fit was a 10. That is down from a solid size 12 when I started the program two weeks ago.
  • I am physically stronger than I have been in years. My abdominal muscles are able to accomplish things I can’t have imagined doing even two weeks ago. I can lift my legs off the ground in a seated position. I can do a shoulder stand in yoga, which is a HUGE accomplishment for me because at my max weight of 241 there was no way I could support myself.
  • I feel really, really good. I’m craving healthier foods and my body really gets upset when I try to eat poorly. THAT has never happened before.

As I’m writing this post, I’m packing to go on a business trip and, as you can see in the video, I’m taking my workout with me. ย I have three Core Fusion DVDs that will be coming with me on this trip and I will be doing them every morning. Gotta keep going if I want the body of a Pussycat Doll. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope all of you are healthy, happy and making the changes in your own lives that will make sure you feel your absolute best. Spring is springing, so if you want to join me in not spending another summer trapped in baggy clothes hiding from the world, get moving! If you think Core Fusion is for you, check out exhale’s website and let’s get moving together!

    Kristin,

With the Core Fusion, did you do any cardio or other workouts in conjunction? Do you think just doing the DVDs would provide similar results? I ask because I just bought 3 of the Core Fusion DVDs. I have about 40 pounds to lose; however, my greatest obsticle is that I have a bulging disk in my back and major arthritis in both hips. Almost every peice of cardio equipment causes me great pain, and so over the past year or two since I couldn’t do the cardio I was usd to… up went my weight. I was hoping this could be an alternative. What are your thoughts?

      Hey there,
So, I would check with your doctor before starting any exercise program, particularly with a bulging disc. I think your doctor should be aware of any and everything you’re doing first. I had really bad lower back issues (I have damage to the nerves around L2) and the Core program helped me strengthen my core muscles (and lose the weight) which helped alleviate my lower back pain. Take the DVDs to your doctor and see what they say. With the disc issues and arthritis, I’d make sure my doctor signed off on anything first. Once they’ve signed off on you doing the DVDs, let me know what you think. In answer to your question, at the time I wrote this post, I wasn’t doing any other cardio or weight programs in conjunction with Core Fusion. I’ve since added one SoulCycle class a week to my regimen, but the Core Fusion workouts remain the cornerstone of my 5-day-a-week workout regimen. Hope this helps!

Thanks! That’s amazing weight loss for a program with very little cardio. I’m in total fear of letting go of my cardio (although I’ve seen little results with it). ๐Ÿ™‚ I have the dvd’s and plan to give them a go!
